Greg
was born in 1971 in Napier, Hawkes Bay, New Zealand.
During his time at Canterbury University
he discovered mountaineering and a passion for
the great outdoors.
Although educated in Mathematics
his love of photographing the New Zealand landscape
led him to professional photography in 2002.

"I will often visit a spot more than once before deciding on a composition, then wait for the light to be right for the image.
All my photographs are then printed into 308gsm archival Hahnemuhle Photo Rag paper. I am currently shooting on a canon 5D camera and a variety of lenses.
Tussock often accompanies me for my trips. "
